Be the Reason Jenner Keeps Healing

When Jenner arrived at RRR Sanctuary, we didn't know what we would find.

Jenner is a 15-year-old paint mare who arrived with severely infected eyes and so much drainage that we initially feared she might be completely blind. After veterinary evaluation, we learned she is blind in one eye and slowly losing vision in the other due to painful eye disease. At some point, she may even require eye removal surgery.

We had originally been told Jenner was pregnant, but our veterinarian now believes her swollen belly is more likely the result of a severe worm burden, although an early pregnancy cannot yet be ruled out completely.

Despite everything she has endured, Jenner is incredibly gentle.

She still doesn't fully understand that she is safe now, but every day we see small signs that she is beginning to trust us.

Jenner is now receiving medication and ongoing treatment for her remaining eye. One of the biggest milestones so far is that she is finally allowing us to administer her eye drops—something she was initially hesitant to do.

It may seem like a small thing, but for a horse who has likely experienced years of discomfort and uncertainty, it is a meaningful step forward. Every treatment helps us fight for the vision she still has remaining and improve her quality of life.

Our veterinarian also believes Jenner may have spent much of her life being used as a broodmare before ultimately being discarded. After years of giving everything she had, she found herself unwanted and vulnerable.

The reality is that rescue doesn't end when an animal arrives at our gate.

For Jenner, this is only the beginning. She needs ongoing veterinary care, medications, eye treatments, proper nutrition, deworming, farrier care, and daily monitoring as we work to keep her comfortable and healthy. Her journey to healing will take time, patience, and resources.

And Jenner is not alone.

Every month, animals arrive at RRR Sanctuary needing emergency medical care, rehabilitation, and a safe place to land. While one-time donations help us respond to emergencies, it is our monthly donors who make long-term healing possible.

The beginning of every month is when the sanctuary's expenses start all over again. Hay deliveries arrive. Feed bills are due. Veterinary appointments must be scheduled. Medications need to be purchased. Horses like Jenner still need care every single day, regardless of how much money is in the bank.

That is why monthly giving is so important.

A monthly gift provides reliable, predictable support that allows us to plan for the animals already in our care and say "yes" when the next horse in need arrives at our gate.

Whether it's $10, $25, $50, or more each month, your recurring gift helps provide:

🐴 Veterinary care and medications
🐴 Eye treatments and specialized medical care
🐴 Nutritious feed and supplements
🐴 Farrier and hoof care
🐴 Safe shelter and daily care
🐴 A second chance for horses like Jenner

As we begin a new month, we're asking you to become part of Jenner's recovery story.

Your monthly gift doesn't just help pay a bill. It helps preserve Jenner's remaining vision. It helps provide her medication. It helps ensure she never has to wonder where her next meal will come from. Most importantly, it helps give her the comfort, safety, and love she should have had all along.

❤️ Become a Monthly Donor Today.

❤️ Be the reason Jenner keeps healing.

❤️ Be the reason the next horse gets a second chance.

Because healing doesn't happen in a day. It happens every day. And that's exactly what monthly donors make possible. 🐴🤎

Comet’s MRI Fundraiser: Help Our Cosmic Puppy Walk 🌠

Comet came to us unable to control his legs—he can’t walk at all, even though he’s otherwise healthy. That means his problem is neurological, and he needs an MRI and a specialist to find out why. If you’ve ever had to pay for this kind of care out of pocket, you know it’s expensive!

We need your help to give Comet a chance at walking for the first time. Donate $50 or more, and you’ll get a special “Comet’s Cosmic Team” t-shirt—but any amount helps, and every gift brings us closer to answers for this brave little guy.

💫 This is where you come in.

We’re launching Comet’s Cosmic Team T-Shirt Campaign to rally a community around this brave little soul.

💙 Donate $50 or more and receive an exclusive “Comet’s Cosmic Team” t-shirt

🌟 Donate any amount to help move Comet one step closer to answers

🚀 Every dollar helps fuel diagnostics, treatment, and hope

Your support isn’t just funding an MRI—it’s funding a possibility. It’s giving Comet a chance to stand, to walk, to experience the world on his own four paws for the very first time.

Thank you for believing in Comet.

Thank you for joining his Cosmic Team.

Together, we can help this little star find his way forward.

Meet Comet

Comet arrived as a tiny puppy carrying challenges no baby should ever have to face.

He was born with a severe spinal deformity that has left him paralyzed in his lower body. His little front body works hard to carry him forward, but he will eventually need custom front-end wheels to give him true mobility and freedom. Comet may also be visually impaired — his eyes drift in different directions, another reminder that his start in life was anything but fair.

And yet… Comet is here.

Alive. Fighting. Trusting.

He’s already had two veterinary appointments scheduled — including an evaluation for physical therapy — because this is our chance to do right by him. To raise him well, with dignity, comfort, enrichment, and joy. He’ll be nourished with high-quality food, ongoing medical care, and the specialized equipment his body needs to thrive.

The truth is, Comet will likely be with us for life. And that’s okay.

Some animals aren’t meant to have the easiest paths — they’re meant to have the most love.

Comet didn’t ask to be born this way. But he showed up anyway. And we said yes.

Now we’re asking you to help us say yes to everything Comet will need — his medical care, his therapy, his wheels, and the lifelong support that will allow him to live fully, safely, and happily.

 Help Comet

Because every life — no matter how small, fragile, or different — deserves a chance to shine.

The Coolest Little Girl on the Ranch

Ginger’s a dwarf miniature horse—something people don’t always understand.

Dwarfism isn’t just being small—it’s a medical condition. One that’s been bred into animals for the sake of cuteness, without any care for their comfort.

And yet Ginger? She’s turned it all around. She’s now one of the happiest, friendliest, most charming souls on the ranch. She has Tina Turner hair. She’s cool—Fonzie cool.

She loves kids. Loves dogs. Loves to stand by the fence next to another horse and just be. There are no strangers in her world—only new friends she hasn’t met yet. She makes people smile. She makes you softer. And she’s proud of her life here. So are we.

Why She Needs You

Ginger’s care isn’t simple. She needs specialized hoof care every two weeks. She needs custom bedding, custom feed, and ongoing medical support. Everything about Ginger is extra. But so is her joy. So is her heart. And she’s worth every penny.

This week only, your donation is MATCHED in Ginger’s honor.

That means twice the hay, twice the hoof trims, twice the love.

Give now at http://RandysRescueRanch.org – it’s the first thing you’ll see.

Because Ginger is living proof:

💛 The smallest survivor can leave the biggest hoofprints. 💛
