Today at 11 a.m.,
our world gets a little softer.

Because we say goodbye to one of the kindest souls we’ve ever known.

Today, we say goodbye to Maybell.
She was more than a horse.
She was a gentle giant.
A healer.

A steady presence in a world that’s anything but.

She never once misbehaved—not a single moment of trouble in all her days. Just grace. Quiet, grounded love. She stood like a mountain when the rest of us were falling apart. And somehow, just being near her made you feel like maybe everything was going to be okay.

Maybell brought peace.
To scared animals.
To special needs children.
To struggling adults.
To me.

She let you wrap your arms around her, or she’d lean her full weight into you—all 2,000 pounds of trust. She didn’t speak with words. She didn’t have to. She spoke in stillness. In safety. In presence. In peace.

She wasn’t just an icon of the ranch.
She was the heart of it.
And losing her…
It’s like losing a piece of home.
Forever loved.
Forever Maybell.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Ever since 2020, it’s been a challenge to regain the financial stability we once had. Life has changed since the pandemic, and so have our habits, interests, and most of all, the economy. Here at Randy’s Rescue Ranch, we continue to rescue animals from life-threatening situations and abuse, providing a safe haven for many horses, donkeys, cattle, pigs, and other farm animals.

Our Plea for Help

Randy’s Rescue Ranch is a place of hope, healing, and miracles. To continue our valuable work of saving lives, we desperately need more income or donations. While we understand that some items may not be appealing to donate, the reality is that our biggest expenses—sawdust, feed, pasture seeding, fencing, and day-to-day maintenance—are essential to our operations.

We Need YOU...

We need your support today more than ever. Your donations ensure that Randy’s Rescue Ranch can continue to be a sanctuary for animals in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact.

Let’s make every day the season of compassion and happiness. Together, we can ensure a bright future for our animals.

Much love,

Randy Grim
